IPA is a top-fermented semi-dark beer. Its exceptional character derives from its intensive bitterness, copper hue and a flavour that combines gentle fruitiness and hops. It’s brewed from five types of malt and four varieties of hop. ‘Dry hopping’ – the addition of special aromatic hops – is done during the ageing in lagering tanks.
