The czech beer is protected by Regulation of the Council (EC) No. 510/2006 with a Protected Geographical Indication and Protected Designation of Origin of the agricultural products and foodstuffs.

The Burghers' Brewery Havlíčkův Brod uses the best materials from the region Vysočina for brewing the Rebel Beer. Because of its premium quality, the Rebel Beer has received the right to use this Protected Geographical Indication as the only brewery in Vysočina.
